He immigrated to New York in 1959 and opened a pizzeria in Port Washington and a fish market in Centereach.

  3. Cape Coral, 1979

He retired to Cape Coral in 1979 with his wife Ruth and their three young children.

  4. Maria's, 1991

In 1991 he opened Maria's with Cesare Gregorat. His recipes are prepared as his mother taught him.

We are not a fast food restaurant! Our family invites you in!!!! Mangiare!

Cooked the way it was taught

Every dish is prepared to order, not pre-prepped or frozen in advance. We use real butter, heavy cream, fresh chicken, real veal, extra virgin olive oil, Grande mozzarella and Romano, and rice bran oil in the fryers. You will also find a few names on the menu: Giovanni's Veal, Joseph's Lasagna, Ruth's Eggplant Rollatini, Luke's Sausage Italiano and Eliana's Shrimp Scampi.
